a maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent), you can access our programme of courses to help build your confidence with numbers. Our courses are suitable for beginners with some programmes tailored specifically for learners with ESOL needs. You can take one or more courses to help improve your maths skills to: • Take your first steps towards numeracy/ maths qualifications and skills. • Manage your money and develop budgeting skills. • Help your children and develop your own maths skills and confidence. • Support your vocational studies in Teaching Assistants, Childcare, Health and Social Care and Business Admin. • Apply for work or upskill to access a certain job/career.

The Adult College is excited to be working in partnership with the DFE and GLA to deliver the nationwide Multiply project. This project provides central government funding to help adults to improve their numeracy and maths skills. Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further education. They also help in everyday life, such as helping your children with their homework or for budgeting money.
