Level 2)

Our popular Supporting Teaching and Learning courses explore the Teaching Assistant role of working in a school setting. Teaching Assistants support teachers and help children with their educational and social development. Typical responsibilities may include listening to children read, helping those in need of additional support, preparing the classroom and supporting the teacher to plan activities. You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to help children get the most from every lesson. It could be the start of a new career! Access to our Teaching Assistant courses is via a short introductory course where you will identify your current skills and the best course for you.
