Our Film Barking and Dagenham: Make It Here programme was created to help local people to access employment, training and supply chain opportunities linked to local film activity, in partnership with the borough ’ s new film studios run by MBS - Hackman. The programme is delivering: • Work - related learning and careers activities in local schools to attract new and diverse entrants to a wide range of screen industry careers • Accessible and structured training and employment pathways into screen industry careers for local people • A database of local crew, suppliers and facilities to retain more investment from the studios and visiting productions in the local economy.
