The inspiration for this ornate triptych comes from the mashrabiya—traditional latticed window screens found in Middle Eastern architecture. Renowned for their intricate wooden latticework, mashrabiya provide shade, ventilation, and privacy, and are most often seen on the upper stories of buildings. Their delicate, repeating patterns are echoed in the detailed design of this triptych, which is finished with finely applied gold embossing, adding a final touch of pure luxury.
