In 2023, Kids In Crisis’TeenTalk programs signicantly supported Newtown, CT. Newtown High School had 82 active participants, while 40 students beneted at Newtown Middle

In 2023, Westport’s Kids In Crisis TeenTalk program at Staples High School saw signicant engagement, with 107 students participating, indicating a need for expansion into middle schools. TeenTalk counselors were actively involved in weekly group counseling and mental health presentations in health classes, showing a commitment to proactive mental health education. support. Despite its early stage, the Lighthouse program, supporting LGBTQ+ youth, began with two participants, arming its importance in our inclusivity mission. Moving into 2024, we’re focused on expanding these initiatives to meet the growing needs of Darien’s youth. This year has been foundational for TeenTalk and Lighthouse, and we anticipate their continued growth and positive impact on the community.
