2025 VERDES HIKING CALENDAR Everyone is welcome to join a hike! There is no need to sign up in advance; just show up. Visit some of the most interesting local hiking trails. For all hikes, meet in the Rio Verde Community Center parking lot at 7:55 AM. Bring your own water bottle, and wear hiking shoes/boots and sunscreen. Hiking poles are optional. • Tue., Mar. 11: Wave Cave (Lost Goldmine TH, Superstitions – 3 miles, 869’ elevation change, 2.5 hours) • Wed., Mar. 26: Miners Summit Trl (Superstitions - 8.5 miles, 1,312' elevation change,4 hrs) • Tue., Apr.1: Mt. KID’S ROCK PAINTING CLASS April 17 | 12:00 to 3:00 PM | Clubhouse Multi- purpose Rm | Complimentary | Max. 15 participants. Kids must be accompanied by an adult during the class. Registration is required. FOR EACH CHILD TO PAINT IN THE CLASS . SUPPLIES NEEDED: PLEASE BRING TWO ROCKS KIDS EASTER EGG HUNT April 19 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Clubhouse Event Lawn Area | Complimentary | Baskets and Face Painting. Registration is Required on the Lifestyle | Event Registration page. ATTENTION!!! Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Kids Easter Egg Hunt. Help is needed, stuffing eggs for approximately 1.5 hours on April 11th. Volunteers are also needed for the hunt on Saturday, April 19th.
