All of us have dreams and visions of what we hope our future might be like, including things we’d like to do and milestones we’d like to reach. I know I do! At the same time, I believe that a dream without a plan to get there is just a hope. You must put those dreams into the form of a plan so you can set goals and hold yourself accountable in order to achieve them. Many of us naturally look at the start of the new year as a time to make resolutions about the new year. While that’s great for people who enjoy that, I personally haven’t been much of a New Year’s resolution follower. I think a big reason for that is I believe any time can be the right time to take action. There is importance and significance that comes with making decisions and taking action. I make the decision to gain knowledge about a topic, collect what I need so I can take action, then tie that to a specific date. When I was younger, the new year was a time to forget the old and look forward to the new. That’s why I believe that there’s no time like the present to make a change. As 2024 continues, I’m planning on adding another PT to our team of five clinicians. The other step I’d like to take is expanding my executive team. In growing my business, I’ve had the chance to wear every hat. Now, I’m mentally preparing myself to look at the possibility of getting more people into the organization so we can serve more people. Right now, if I’m making a lot of the day-to-day decisions, the buck stops with me. By involving others and growing our executive team, that won’t happen. Plus, in addition to maximized efficiency in the business, I will also get more time to spend with my sons. The process of identifying goals and working toward them never ends. In the meantime, I love the fact that I’m helping people solve problems. It feels very good knowing that people come to me with a problem, and I’m able to work with them to come to a solution that will allow them to be happier and healthier. BAKED SALMON WITH GARLIC AND LEMON
Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with a zesty dish that combines salmon with the vibrant flavors of garlic and lemon!
Ingredients

2 lbs salmon fillets 4 cloves garlic, minced Juice of 2 lemons 2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried thyme Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 F. 2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Place the salmon fillets on the baking dish. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the salmon. 4. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through. Serve and enjoy!
