DECK THE HALLS WITH HANDMADE CARDS 3 EASY IDEAS YOU CAN MAKE WITH KIDS!

Sending Christmas cards is a great way to tell people you’re thinking of them during the holiday season. However, like everything lately, buying enough Christmas cards for your loved ones is expensive. Store-bought

cards can also feel too stiff and formal for our friends and family.

that’s it! You’ve successfully created a washi tape tree! You can also draw a tree stump under the longest strip or a star on top. HANDPRINT CARDS This Christmas card variation is a favorite for kids to make and family members to receive. Have your child place their hand on the blank card stock and trace their hand with a pencil. Then, cut out the shape of their hand using scissors. Finally, with the cut-out hand facing down (fingers to the ground), have your child decorate it as if it were a tree, drawing ornaments, lights, candy canes, or other decorations. PIPE CLEANER CARDS For this card, you need green pipe cleaners and gold stars (like the ones you’d earn in school). Simply twist a pipe cleaner into a tree shape using a zig-zag pattern to form the widest branches at the bottom to the smallest boughs at the top. Glue the pipe cleaner to the card. Finish with a gold star as a tree topper! toothbrush to remove bacteria and stimulate circulation. Keeping the entire mouth clean contributes to overall oral health. SCHEDULE REGULAR DENTAL CHECK-UPS Even if you have a full set of dentures, your dentist will examine the condition of your dentures, assess the fit, and check for any changes in your oral health. Adjustments or relining may be recommended to ensure a snug and comfortable fit. BE MINDFUL OF DIETARY CHOICES It’s wise to be mindful of certain foods that can be challenging for denture wearers. Avoid extremely sticky or hard foods, as they may compromise the integrity of the denture or cause discomfort. ADDRESS FIT ISSUES PROMPTLY If you experience discomfort, sore spots, or changes in the fit of your dentures, call us right away. Ill-fitting dentures can lead to irritation, sores, and difficulty speaking or eating. Again, professional adjustments or relining may be necessary to enhance comfort.

That’s why you should consider making Christmas cards this holiday season! It is more cost-effective and a great way to give your cards a personal touch that lets friends and family know you care. The best part is that making holiday cards doesn’t have to be laborious or stressful — it’s quick, easy, and fun! Don’t believe us? Check out these three easy Christmas cards you and your family can make at home. Each card idea is built upon plain white cards! WASHI TAPE CARDS All you need for this card is a roll of washi tape with any design you wish. Simply cut strips of the washi tape, starting with a longer piece (about 2—3 inches), and place it horizontally across the card near the bottom. Then, build upward using gradually smaller pieces of tape to make a triangle — and

Your Guide to Caring for and Maintaining Dentures

HANDLE DENTURES WITH CARE When cleaning or handling dentures, do so over a soft surface or a folded towel to prevent damage if dropped. Avoid using hot water, as it may warp the denture’s shape. Rinse dentures after meals to remove loose debris and maintain a fresh feeling. SOAK DENTURES OVERNIGHT Allow your dentures to soak in a denture- cleaning solution or water overnight. This helps prevent them from drying out and maintains their shape. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific denture-cleaning product you use. MAINTAIN ORAL HYGIENE FOR REMAINING TEETH If you have natural teeth remaining, it’s essential to care for them as well. Brush your natural teeth, gums, and tongue with a soft

Dentures provide a practical and aesthetic solution for patients who are missing natural teeth. Dentures restore their ability to chew, speak, and smile with confidence. However, to ensure the longevity and comfort of dentures, proper care and maintenance are crucial. Whether you’re a new denture wearer or have been using them for a while, incorporating good oral hygiene habits and following specific tips can contribute to a comfortable fit and overall oral health. ESTABLISH A DAILY CLEANING ROUTINE Dentures must be cleaned daily to remove plaque, food particles, and stains. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush or a denture brush to clean all surfaces thoroughly. Avoid using regular toothpaste, as it can be abrasive and damage denture material. Instead, use a mild soap or denture cleaner recommended by our dental professionals.

Restorative Dentistry

Transforming Smiles, Restoring Confidence

A bright, healthy smile can significantly impact confidence and overall well-being. However, accidents, decay, or wear and tear can lead to damaged teeth, affecting both oral health and aesthetic appeal. Fortunately, restorative dentistry offers a range of solutions to repair and enhance damaged teeth, providing patients with renewed function and a natural-looking smile. DENTAL FILLINGS Commonly used to address cavities caused by tooth decay, dental fillings involve removing the decayed portion and filling the space with materials like amalgam or composite resin to help restore the tooth’s structure and prevent further decay. DENTAL CROWNS For more extensive damage or after a root canal procedure, dental crowns are often recommended. Crowns are custom-made caps that cover the entire visible portion of the tooth, providing strength, protection, and an improved appearance. They are crafted from porcelain, ceramic, or metal alloys. DENTAL BRIDGES When a patient is missing one or more teeth, a dental bridge can be an effective solution. Bridges consist of artificial teeth (pontics) supported by adjacent natural teeth or dental implants. This restores the appearance of a complete smile and helps maintain proper bite alignment. DENTAL IMPLANTS Dental implants are a modern and durable solution for replacing missing teeth. These titanium posts are surgically placed in the jawbone, serving as artificial tooth roots. Once integrated with the bone, implants support individual crowns, bridges, or dentures, providing stability and a natural look and feel. DENTURES Traditional or implant-supported dentures are versatile options for replacing multiple missing teeth. Dentures are removable appliances crafted to replace a full arch or partial sections of teeth. Advances in denture materials and techniques offer improved comfort and aesthetics. INLAYS AND ONLAYS Inlays and onlays are indirect restorations used to address moderate tooth damage. Inlays fit within the cusps of a tooth, while onlays extend over one or more cusps. Both are custom-made from materials such as porcelain and provide a conservative approach to preserving tooth structure. Choosing the most suitable restorative dentistry solution depends on factors such as the extent of damage, patient preferences, and overall oral health. A consultation with one of our qualified dentists will help determine the best course of action, allowing our patients to regain optimal oral function and showcase a confident smile.
