Diane is a visionary leader with decades of experience in the packaging industry. Under her leadership, Carlisle

Container has driven innovation and sustainability, setting new bench- marks for excellence. Her presenta- tion will offer valuable insights into the evolving market landscape, lead- ership strategies, and the future of corrugated packaging.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Crim- inology, the corrugated packing in- dustry was not close to being on Diane’s radar as a career path. So how did she get here? She married into it! She started working for her husband’s company in an HR role addressing workers compensation and return to work options. Somehow that then led to estimating and then to leading the charge to enter the digital printing arena. In 2010, they bought out Chuck’s partner in Carlisle Con- tainer Company and in 2011, Diane took over the helm. In 2012, they became a certified Woman Owned Business. Carlisle Container, established in 1965 in Carlisle, Penn- sylvania, is a sheet plant with approximately 50 employees. They are one of 13 partners in Freedom Corrugated. Their recent acquisition of a Nozomi 14000 digital printer is an important and exciting part of the future of their com- pany. Each year, the company processes approximately 75 million square feet of corrugated board into packaging and point of purchase displays. Other speakers include: • Peter Goodman of the New York Times , a globalization expert and economics correspondent.
