Past Golf What a fantastic month of exciting golf here at ORPS. We, your golf committee, would like to thank all of you for making the last 30 days one of the best months of this season. We had the Three Club Tournament at the end of January and just finished the Sweetheart Tournament. When we look back at the Sweetheart Tournament, just days ago, we hope that your Golf Committee gave you one fun golf event that left you with as many happy memories as we got putting it on for you. We had a great tournament with lots of fun and a shot at a $1,000 shopping spree for a hole in one on hole #4, sorry to say that not one of the 286 players were lucky enough to walk away with it, but still there were over 120 gifts handed out and a darn fine light lunch too. A great big thank you to all of the people that made this year ’ s tournament so successful. Check it out We hope that all of you have found your way to the Facebook page with information by our golf coordinator, it is www.facebook.com/groups/531772913252736 for anyone that has not seen it, please check it out. This page is for information and positive things about golf. Coming Golf Before we talk again, we will have the Hole in One Tournament, this one is for owners that have gotten a hole in one here at ORPS. Then we will enjoy the friendly competition of the CanAm Tournament with two person teams of like handicaps doing battle for their country against your wonderful neighbors and friends. Now we look at March and the ORPS Club Champion ’ s will have been crowned. This is the one event that allows all owners of like ability to play head - to - head to the best of their abilities for three days of golf, if you are lucky enough to endure the first two. Let us keep up the great interest in our events and join your friends and neighbors for all the fun we have left this season. The weather is warmer, and you can play even later in the evening, so please stay safe and stay clear of the incoming stray balls when you are waiting for your next tee shot. Tee it up, line it up and keep - up, so we all can enjoy the greatest par three in town. John Mullins - Golf Secretary/Treasurer
