Favorite Part of JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars: The staff. They’re the reason I leave work with a smile every day. What’s your Drink of Choice?: Twilight with Noah. I may be biased though; I did invent the drink. What Inspired You to Get into this Industry? My boss, Tom Slattery. Hearing about his love for whiskey & his passion for the craft made me want to learn as much as I could. I wanted to be able to create something that might ignite that passion in someone else.
What’s Something People Should Know About JJ’s? There’s more to us than meets the eye. With a liquor store, bar, kitchen, event space, axe throwing, and more, we’ve got something for everyone. What kind of events does JJ’s host? We host all kinds of events. Wedding rehearsals, reunions, birthday parties, office parties and meetings—the options are endless. Our event staff and space are multifaceted and accommodating to any number of events. What’s Your Favorite South Dakota Experience? Exploring the Black Hills on foot for the first time with my brothers when we were kids. What’s your Favorite Part of Sioux Falls? Summertime on the bike trails. For me, nothing beats the scenery and the sense of accomplishment after completing a full circle ride around the city. What’s your Favorite Downtime Activity? Playing sand volleyball with family & friends.
