Getting to Know You Director of Food and Beverage Youssef Oualidi

Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Youssef has lived in a variety of places worldwide, including Frankfurt, Germany, Atlanta, GA, and in Florida – Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and now, Naples. As well as English, he is fluent in French and Arabic, and a bit of German. He is married, and the father of three boys, aged 16, 19, and 24.

Youssef Oualidi

Youssef holds a degree in Hospitality Management. His prior job experience includes Walt Disney World, Marriott International, Noble House Hotels and Resorts, and Northwood Hospitality Group. He feels he will bring balance and leadership to our Club, spending his time engaging with members and employees, focusing on guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and positive financial results. In the next couple of years he plans to elevate our Members’ Food and Beverage experience and have the MIYC achieve Top Platinum Level recognition. In his leisure time, Youssef enjoys watching soccer, basketball, and football. He also enjoys Rock & Roll and classical music; movies like Grease, Face/Off, Old School, and going to the beach. He enjoys good bread pudding with ice cream! His dream vacation is to visit Tahiti and Bora Bora. The causes he cares about include the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. His personal motto?

“If you want to lift yourself up, lift someone else up.”
