Membership
I want to begin my column for this issue by thanking the Club’s “Mary Sunshine,” our member Mary McKeown. When a Club member experiences a life-changing event, our own Mary McKeown makes sure that the Club sends the appropriate card to let that member know that the membership cares. Mary has handled this duty for years, so Mary, THANK YOU from all of us for brightening our days! Membership Updates We have been working to clear our waitlist for Full and Social Memberships, so you will see many fresh faces around the Club this Fall! Please help me to welcome the following new members!

Violet Storer & Henryk Switala have joined us as Full Members recommended by Member Cathy Levert. Also, Lisa & John Quetti are joining us as Full members. They were dining members many years back but now spend a lot of time on the island. David & Lee Ann Lester have joined us as Equity Members! They plan on using the Club often. Cam & Nicole Jenkins are three-month trial members through our member realtor program. Jason Brooke is a three-month trial member as he purchased the membership at the American Cancer Society’s Imagination Ball. Thank you for supporting one of our favorite organizations, Jason! Community Support Speaking of Community Support, be sure to see the advertisement for the Love of Cats Gala, another organization we support. Jan & Jim Rich are members who created the organization. The fundraiser is Saturday, January 28 th and will be held at the Club. Check with Jan if you are interested in attending this casino event! We are still collecting for the Food Pantry in the lobby. Keep bringing in non-perishable items and we will make sure they get over to the Food Pantry. Stay tuned as we will have some more information about how we will support Toys for Tots in the November Issue of Anchorlines ! Calendars for the Month and Season Be sure to click on the links monthly and season calendar that were part of the email that contained this issue. We have many events planned for you! One of our favorites to kick off the season is our Fla-mingle Event on Saturday October 15 th . You will meet lots of members at this fun Progressive Dinner. Also, mark your calendar now for the Membership Annual Meeting on Thursday November 17 th . We are all looking forward to a fun season!
