COMMUNITY LENDING LIBRARY Judy Richelsen has been managing, shelving, and organizing library volunteers for 25 years! A BIG THANK YOU to Judy for her endless service to
community. Thanks to Judy, Tonto Verde residents have enjoyed a surplus of engaging books to select from. Maintaining a library of donated books has been an ongoing effort and is appreciated by all of our members, families, and friends who utilize the library. We wish Judy a smooth transition as she and Ray make their new home in Fountain Hills. Their presence will be missed by many in Tonto Verde. Additional volunteers are needed to help shelve books. A two-week commitment per year is easy to manage. If interested, please contact Jacki Westbay to add your name to the list. For those wishing to donate books to the Tonto Verde Library, please note that the library committee cannot currently accept fiction published before 2013 due to limited space. That is the same for both hardcover and paperback. Travel, cooking, academic textbooks, or oversized books cannot be accepted as well. **The 2013 cutoff date doesn’t apply to Biography, History, Sports, Health, or other miscellaneous non-fiction books. Anyone interested in volunteering for the library committee may contact Jacki Westbay at: jbwestbay@aol.com.
