GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP February 6 - March 13 - 3:00 to 4:15 PM Community Church of the Verdes - Community Library A Grief Share Support Group will meet on Thursdays in the church library from 3:00 to 4:15 PM. Participants are encouraged to attend all six sessions. Sharing and reflecting have been shown to ease some of the pain of grief as well as show a better path forward. PAL will meet in the Community Church library from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on alternate Tuesdays beginning February 11th. PAL is a support group of parents or grandparents helping them deal with a son/daughter/ grandson/or granddaughter battling alcoholism or addiction. PAL can also help spouses who feel they must parent a partner with addiction/alcohol issues. We value confidentiality and understand that everyone has their own opinion. With Sympathy . . . Ron Kastrava, a Tonto Verde resident passed away on January 16, 2025. He will be buried at the Polish National Cemetery in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, in a private ceremony for family. Donations in his memory can be made to VerdeCares in Rio Verde, Arizona.
