Background: Her professional career included over 30 years in a variety of management positions for three separate Fortune 100 companies. For one, she was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and, later, Chief Support Officer. At another, she was Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Information Technology and Strategic Planning. Tonto Verde Involvement: Susan has been a member of the TVA Board of Directors since October 2020, where she is currently serving as Vice President. She has been Chair of the TVA Human Resource Committee since it was started in 2018, is a current member of the Strategic Planning Committee, Survey Task Force and inter- board committee. For the Tonto Verde Golf Club, she served on the Board of directors for six years and was a member of Governance and Executive Committee.
In. In both the short and long term, one of Susans prioritirs is to keep the communtiy as special as if has been. That means continuing to improve our communications with the community, ensuring the Board is always as transparent as possible, and seeking to engage a broad cross section of our residents in activities and committees. The Tonto Verde Vision is “to be a premier, activity rich, golf community in the northeast valley.” To Susan, that means putting a focus on excellence in operations. This includes the restaurant experience, maintenance of our facilities and grounds and overall customer service. Susan believes we have the ability to get closer to achieving our vision. ______________________________________________________________________________ As a reminder, outside of this process, members may nominate additional candidates by petition containing the signatures of a minimum of seventy-five (75) members entitled to vote. The petition must be (a) submitted to Andy Andrews who will post it outside the clubhouse entrance, and (b) submitted to the Secretary of the Board, Bill Reimer at 27507 N Tonto Verde Drive, by the end of the day, February 13, 2025. Members desiring to utilize this procedure should refer to the Bylaws of the TVA for a more complete explanation of the process. In as much as petitioned candidates will be included on the ballot, the Nominating Committee also recommends the candidates submit a resume and answer the two questions other candidates were asked: 1. What is your short and long-term vision for Tonto Verde? 2. What qualifications do you have that will add value to the TVA? Each candidate will also be required to sign the TVA Code of Conduct and Ethics.
