Space and Missile Defense Symposium The 2025 Space and Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium will convene Aug. 5–7 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala. The SMD Symposium provides a platform for knowl- edge sharing, critical discussions, and cutting-edge insights that drive national and global space and missile defense strategic policy. Join Space Force and missile defense lead- ers and professionals from the United States and its allies as they network and advance in their space and missile defense community professional development. (Register here) DoD PSM Workshop The 2025 DoD Product Support Manager (PSM) Work- shop is slated to take place Aug. 5–7 at the General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center on Joint Base Andrews, Md. Registration for the DoD PSM Workshop will be updated as additional details become available at this website. MODSIM World MODSIM World 2025 will be held Aug. 18–20 at Hilton Norfolk The Main in Norfolk, Va. This year’s theme will be “Forging the Future: Bridging the Gaps through Modeling and Simulation.” MODSIM World 2025 will bring together modeling and simulation (M&S) leaders dedicated to forg- ing the future by bridging gaps in technology, innovation, and collaboration. This multidisciplinary and international conference will spotlight cutting-edge advancements and approaches in areas such as engineering, medical simula- tion, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learn- ing, extended reality, gamification, and visualizations. Join experts and global innovators as they shape a future that thrives in a complex M&S environment. (Register here) DON Gold Coast Expo The National Defense Industrial Association and Secretary of the Navy Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) will sponsor the 2025 Department of the Navy (DON) Gold Coast Expo Aug. 18–21 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. Gold Coast is the Navy’s annual procure- ment expo. Each year, OSBP provides a forum to educate, guide, and assist businesses, large and small, in support of the Warfighter mission within the DON and throughout the DoD. A cyber track will also be offered that will cover the services that the federal government provides to the defense industrial base. Counter-UAS Summit The Seventh Annual Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (Counter-UAS) Summit will convene Aug. 19–20 at The Westin Arlington in Arlington, Va. This summit provides a forum of key decision-makers and senior military leaders to develop strategies and a path forward to collaboratively combat UAS threats from global adversaries. Across two days of learning and collaboration, attendees will engage in high-level discussions surrounding kinetic and nonkinetic approaches for countering drones, explore case studies on specific drone-related incidents, gain insights into the lat- est innovative Counter-UAS technologies, and much more. (Register here) Navy Summit The Potomac Officers Club, headquartered in Vienna, Va., will convene the 2025 Navy Summit on Aug. 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. ET. This event is a gathering of naval and maritime leaders to address the most critical challenges and opportunities facing the U.S. Navy. Naval and mari- time experts will gather to explore innovative solutions, forge strategic partnerships, and shape the future of naval operations. Attendees will gain invaluable insights into the latest advancements in technology, policy, and strategy as they collectively work to ensure a secure future and ready naval force. Space Warfighter Forum The Sixth Annual Space Warfighter Forum (SWF) will be held Aug. 26–28 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs, Colo. Bringing together lead- ers from industry, government, and academia, SWF 2025 aims to further discussion on the space warfighting vision, requirements, and existing and emerging capabilities. At- tendees will hear from top U.S. Space Command and U.S. Space Force leadership in both unclassified and classified forums. Entrepreneurs and thought leaders on partnerships, coalitions, and international engagement also will discuss new technologies, pushing data to the tactical edge, and legislative actions.
