July 18: Cheese & Greet Anniversary Tastings at Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company Celebrate 25 years of cheese on July 18 at 2 p.m. at Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company, 14700 State Route 1 in Point Reyes Station. Enjoy a scenic afternoon by Tomales Bay with a cheese- filled grazing table, local beverage pairings and learn about the farm and family history. July 25: Pickleball After Dark Join a glowing after-hours pickleball night at McNears Beach Park, 201 Cantera Way, open to all ages and skill levels! From 8 to 10 p.m. enjoy games under the stars using glow- in-the-dark balls and glow sticks (provided or bring your own). Bring your paddle, wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and get ready for a night of fun. The event is limited to registered participants, so don’t forget to sign up at marincounty.gov.
July 26: San Rafael Festival of the Arts at Falkirk Cultural Center The San Rafael Festival of the Arts takes place on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the historic Falkirk Cultural Center, 1408 Mission Ave. in San Rafael. Enjoy live music, fine art, street painting, artisan crafts, gourmet food trucks and scenic views of Mt. Tamalpais. Admission is free. Wine and beer tastings require a ticket: $30 in advance (May 16 to July 25) and $35 on the event day. Ticket price includes a wristband and stemless glass. July 19: Live on the Avenue Concerts in San Anselmo Live on the Avenue lights up downtown San Anselmo with free music every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. There is a vast lineup of musicians set to perform on different stages. The Creek Park Amphitheater, 634 San Anselmo Ave., offers a picnic-perfect lawn under redwoods, while Town Hall Plaza, 525 San Anselmo Ave., energizes the avenue with music spilling into nearby eateries. July’s lineup includes Wonderbread 5, Beatles in the Park, Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers and more. It’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge and soak in the sounds of summer.
