Job context Responsible for all major and capital projects to the University, to lead the Project Management function for the Service and to work in partnership with faculties and other services to implement the University’s aims and objectives. Job purpose Create and deliver Project Management strategies to ensure a quality service level is delivered by Estates to the wider University. Create and maintain internal and external customer relationships, manage feedback and satisfaction to ensure constant improvement across Estates Project Management. The role will undertake performance management, partnership building, critical analytical thinking and time critical decision making. Lead and champion the effective and efficient operation of the areas within Project Management:- Major Projects, Capital Projects, Space Planning, BIM & Soft Landings. Have strategic responsibility for all project management. Principal accountabilities 1. Strategic development To provide effective leadership to all major and capital projects ensuring that the University’s project management policies and procedures are properly implemented.
