9. Professional Leadership Act as the senior adviser to the Director of Estates on relevant issues, ensuring that professional knowledge is kept up to date and benchmarked favourably against good practice within comparable organisations. Produce and present reports, presentations and other communications and promotional material to University boards and committees as required. To deputise for the Director of Estates at Facilities and Estates Executive meetings and other meetings as requested by the DoE. 10. Service Delivery Develop a strategy to create and embed a culture of customer service excellence with a proactive approach to improving service delivery, review and act on customer feedback and performance issues to identify and resolve root cause issues. Oversee the implementation of initiatives to maximise the impact on student and University life. To be responsible for customer perception and understanding of Estates project management, potential and actual service interruptions, monitoring and clarifying areas where the service will not meet customer expectation or needs. Lead on the development of project mobilisation strategies, policies and procedures to ensure project, faculty and departmental business continuity and a seamless transition from hand-over to occupation. Embed customer service ethos and measurement into areas of the service within the role. Oversee the development, implementation and ongoing development of suitable stakeholder management and communications policies and procedures. Lead on the integration of BIM processes into project management in collaboration with the BIM Manager and to ensure that the correct digital data is handed over to the operational teams at the end of projects.
