The Estate
Today, the University is made up of three main campuses – City Campus, Frenchay and Glenside.
Frenchay Campus opened in 1975 and now consists of 72 non-residential build- ings and 3,149 residential bed spaces, set on a site of 60.4 ha (including the Enterprise Park). This is the largest of our campuses and is home to the Faculty of Business and Law, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education. It is the main hub for professional services and the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
The campus is also home to UWEBIC International College, a collaboration with Kaplan College. The City Campus provides space for the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education.
Glenside Campus is set in 9.7 ha consisting mainly of Grade II listed buildings and grounds.
An attractive campus with an interesting history, it is home to the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences.
