What a special time of remembering and, more importantly, paying tribute to our founding mothers and those on the ANCC golf staff that help create CWGO. We were grateful for all the members who traveled from far away, especially MJ who came all the way from Florida. Despite the heat, many members competed in the August 20th Member-Member Tournament. A huge congratulations goes out to Beth Foster and Maile Fries for winning first place for gross score as well as Pam Quinn and Susan Walthall for winning first place for net score. Well done ladies!!! Coming up this month is the finals for our Individual Match Play. It’s down to the final match’s to see who is the champion in each of the flights, all of which culminates in our Aspiring Champions Tournament on 17 September. Good luck to all the finalists! There’s still time to be part of CWGO so if you are interested, please contact the Membership Chair, Dianne Forburger at dwforburger@hotmail.com. CWGO: CAREER WOMEN’S GOLF ORGANIZATION and Deena Hollingsworth for low net and to Judi Enright and Colleen Kohler for low gross.
