What advice would you offer other women considering joining Alpha Phi as alumnae? Do it! Do it now! You will be so impressed with the amazing women you will meet and interact with, and you get to support young women in their journeys.

There comes a time in your life where you can give your services to an organization and put more of yourself into it, and I’ve reached that point now. Alpha Phi has done so much for my daughters with friendships and where they have gone with their careers, and I look forward to getting involved.

What made you want to join Alpha Phi at this phase of your life? I’ve been to a lot of [Fraternity] events as both of my daughters are in Alpha Phi, so it feels like I’ve been going to these events forever because I’m their mom. They strongly encouraged me to join, and I was just like, “Ok!” What are you most looking forward to as a member of Alpha Phi? I’m looking forward to helping other women and working with my daughters in volunteer capacities to better the lives of women in general. What advice would you offer other women considering joining Alpha Phi as alumnae? Just do it! When you do something like this, you feel amazing and like you can actually make a change in the world. Don’t be nervous!

What made you want to join Alpha Phi at this phase of your life? I was very excited to join when Susan invited me because I’ve been familiar with the organization
through different activities. Its goals, especially with women’s heart health, is one of my main passions. I’ve also seen her grow within the Fraternity and make a lot of friends. What made you want to join Alpha Phi at this phase of your life? Several reasons, the main being that Joanie is a dear friend of mine, and
organization and have traveled with them to various Conventions. They just brought it up one day, and I thought, ‘Why not?’ I wanted to continue contributing and thought I might as well make it official.
