Convention 2024 Recap
Alpha Phi’s 74th Biennial Convention was held on the West Coast in beautiful Rancho Mirage, California, earlier this summer from June 26-30. This highly anticipated event is held every other year and offers collegians, alumnae, volunteers and chapter officers the opportunity to celebrate all of Alpha Phi’s success throughout the past biennium, reaffirm our sisters’ commitments to one another and partake in crucial Fraternity business together. Convention is always a critical time to accomplish the vital work of our beloved Alpha Phi — including its 174 collegiate chapters and 131 active alumnae communities across North America — as well to celebrate the invaluable contributions collegiate chapters and alumnae members make to their schools, community and the Fraternity as a whole. New members were also welcomed during Court of Ivy and Alumnae Initiation. Sisters who have distinguished themselves by achieving high levels of success within Alpha Phi, their communities and their careers were also honored with awards. As many of you know, Alpha Phi experienced heartbreak this biennium with the passings of 13 of our collegiate sisters. They and all alumnae who entered the Silent Chapter were honored with a dedicated Service of Remembrance. Convention was closed on that Saturday night with the traditional Candlelight Banquet where everyone in attendance gathered to celebrate individual and
