Philippe Tabet
Nato e cresciuto in Francia, a Versailles, ha studiato design industriale a Lione e Parigi. Vive a Milano, dove dal 2014 ha sede il suo studio di progettazione e dove insegna presso Domus Academy e Naba. Collabora con aziende rinomate quali Pianca, Lexon, Infiniti Design e Plust e al contempo sviluppa un suo percorso artigianale, con processi e risultati che esplorano materiali e tecniche di lavorazione – come per la serie di maschere Order. Ha vinto il premio Infiniti Design nel 2014 e Young&Design nel 2017; ha ottenuto il Good Design Award nel 2018.
Born and raised in Versailles, France, he studied industrial design in Lyon and Paris. He now lives in Milan, where he established his design firm in 2014 and where he teaches at Domus Academy and Naba. He collaborates with renowned companies such as Pianca, Lexon, Infiniti Design and Plust, whilst at the same time following his own path as a craftsman, with processes and results that are explorations of materials and techniques, as can be seen from Order, his series of masks. He won the Infiniti Design award in 2014 and the Young&Design award in 2017, before garnering the Good Design Award in 2018.
