Hell
Hell is referred to in the book of Revelation as the lake of fire, where those
whose names are not recorded in the book of life are cast. The punishment in
this lake of fire is perpetual, and the suffering eternal. Those who are cast into
the lake of fire are not consumed or “annihilated” . Each person who has ever
lived, will either eternally live in the Lord’s presence, or else will eternally exist
away from Jesus’ presence in the eternal torment of the lake of fire.
