On Friday, January 2, the Vikings capped the stretch with a commanding 10–4 road win over the Winchester Hawks during their first game of the year. During the first period, the Hawks scored the only two goals in the

period. The Casselman exploded for seven second-period goals, while the Hawks only scored one goal. Beks and McCarthy each scored twice throughout the game, while Lafrance, Edouard Ranger, Thomas Ranger, Cloutier, and Hayward also found the back of the net. The Casselman Vikings delivered a strong offensive showing during their most recent three-game stretch, ear- ning two wins in dramatic fashion and posting a dominant road victory after opening the sequence with a convincing home performance. The Vikings began the run on Thursday, December 18, with an 8–1 victory over the Embrun Panthers. Casselman controlled the game from start to finish, outshooting Embrun 40–20 and scoring in all three periods. Kaleb Fogarty, with the help of Alexis Lafrance, opened the scoring on the power play during the first period, while Téo Webb, Simon Toupin, with the help of Marc-Olivier McCarthy and Thomas Ranger, Skyler Beks, with the help of Tristan Simoneau and Alexis Lafrance, and Edouard Ranger, with the help of Thomas Ranger and McCarty for the fifth goal for the team and Webb and Cédric Ouimet for the sixth goal, scored during the second period. SCS is a not-for-profit bilingual organization managed by a volunteer board of directors.
