Registration Opens For LabelExpo Americas 2024 BY GREG KISHBAUGH Registration is now open for Labelexpo Americas 2024, which will take place September between 10-12 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

PGSF, GCEA Form Alliance

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foun- dation (PGSF), will be supporting the Graph- ic Communications Education Association (GCEA), establishing a formal alliance to help promote the furtherance of knowledge in the Graphic Communications industries. The GCEA is an international association of educators at high school, trade school, community college and university levels, fo- cused on all aspects of the print and graphics industry. They are dedicated to sharing the- ories, principles, techniques, and processes relating to graphic communications and imag- ing technologies and careers.

Hundreds of live demonstrations of flexo presses along with digital technology and finishing equipment will be on display. Expanded networking opportunities at Labelexpo Americas 2024 will focus on merging educational content and bringing the internation- al package printing community together. Labelexpo Americas 2024 will also feature a one-day conference program, expanded networking opportunities and two educational workshops and a master class, all aimed at the latest trends impacting the label and package printing industry. Focus On Innovation Feature areas will include a Flex Pack Factory, a focused area for flexible packaging and an RFID Zone and Innovation Stage, focusing on automation, RFID technology application and development. TLMI, the sponsoring partner for Labelexpo Americas 2024, will host an Eco Stage on the first two days of the show, presenting the latest developments in sustainability. Other highlights include the Opening Night Party featuring the La- bel Industry Global Awards, an evening to honor organizations and in- dividuals who have excelled in the label and package printing sector within the past two years.

Having its roots in the early 1900s, the GCEA provides resources for educators to stay current with technology and provides a forum to discuss issues that affect the current state of education in the Graphic Arts. The GCEA also publishes a peer reviewed journal that provides a professional communicative link for educators and industry personnel. It covers many topics, including design trends,
