Alexandre Le Voci Sayad is a journalist, educator and writer. Master in Artificial Intelligence and Ethics from PUC-SP and specialist in digital business from the University of California - Berkeley. He is currently a PhD student in lifelong learning and AI policies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB - Spain). Sayad director of ZeitGeist, an innovation hub in education, culture and media that develops global projects for companies, governments and the educational sector. He also works as a consultant in media education for the UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France) and and Montevideo (Uruguai). Internationally he is a member of the DCN Global team. He is also member of the board of IC4MIL (international Council for Media Literacy) and and of the scientific council of the academic journal Comunicar (Universidad de Huelva, Spain). On television, he hosts the program "Idade Mídia", on Canal Futura, in its fifth season. He is also a columnist for Education Magazine. He is the author and author of more than twenty books in the areas of education, technology and communication, as well as a young adult novel. The most recent of these (2023) is "Artificial Intelligence and Critical Thinking". He began his career as a reporter in the education field, including a project at the BBC; His work in the mainstream media included O Estado de S. Paulo, where he was an education columnist, Folha de S. Paulo, as a contributor, and BandNews FM, as a presenter. He moved to the education sector when he co-founded and became director of Cidade Escola Aprendiz, an award-winning project. He has worked in the area of education and media for 23 years as a researcher and consultant on policies to combat misinformation and strength media education.
