Lunches & Snacks Snacks: Please send a small, healthy snack with your child each day. Please make sure there are no peanuts or peanut products in the snacks, as we have students with allergies. Water and juice will be provided during snack time. Lunches: For those children participating in the extended day, please pack a nutritional snack lunch. Please do not send items that require heating or preparation.

Toileting All children attending HCA Preschool are expected to be potty-trained and able to use the bathroom independently. We have no facilities for changing diapers or pull-ups. We have scheduled bathroom times and children are allowed to use the bathroom anytime, always under supervision. Field Trips Occasional field trips may be planned. Because of child restraint issues, parents will be asked to transport their children to and from the field trips.
Emergency Drills Fire drills will be conducted once a month in compliance with state regulations. Tornado drills are conducted once a month during the tornado season. A complete emergency response plan is posted in each classroom. School Events & Fundraisers Preschool families have the option to participate in all-school fundraisers and events throughout the year. Participating in these events helps build community and raise funds for many school programs.
