Kenny Primrose (Harrogate gallery customer)

“Sometimes the results are soft and calm, and other times more dramatic. This adds to the uniqueness and emphasises that every piece is totally individual.”

“The energetic brushstrokes of Édouard Manet’s floral work appeals to me,” says Stephen. “I’ve also looked into Georgia O’Keeffe’s art, as the bold colours and almost abstract forms have a lot of parallels with my work. Whilst I appreciate the skill of traditional botanical artists, I’m more drawn towards Impressionistic works, rather than Realism.” The beauty of original art is that no two paintings are ever the same, which is something that isn’t lost on Stephen. He adds: “My work is so organic in form that it sometimes takes a life of its own. Sometimes the results are soft and calm, and other times more dramatic. This adds to the uniqueness, and emphasises that every piece is totally individual.” To discuss our range of original artworks, contact your local gallery or speak to an online art consultant.
