After settling well through early stages, tempo increased & was left further back than intended. Due to good pace in middle stages was obliged to begin riding sooner than would have liked. Flemington 17/07/2021 R: mare felt amiss in its action on return to scale. Vets: No abs. Ladbrokes Park Lakeside 30/06/2021 Began awkwardly with head up & then restr. to rear of field. Raced keenly early stages. R- instr. to settle at rear & to not expose too early as has a good turn of foot late in the race. Due to fast tempo in middle stages, got further back than int. & was off the bridle passing 800m & failed to make ground until straightening. MAde good ground to line but lay in over concl. stages.
