We change our charity every 18 months and Sue will introduce our new charity and give some background into why we have decided to focus on raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer. particularly pleased to introduce this tenth issue of the magazine as Guest Editor. We are seeing a huge amount of activity driving the efficiency of infrastructure across Financial Services at the moment, from service process maturity improvement, to driving the digital agenda with Cloud and application migration, to automation of the work flow. Businesses must manage all of these challenges whilst still maintaining their legacy infrastructure and associated applications. All of the above activity has a major impact on the vendor strategy and the role the sourcing function plays within it, as well as on rationalisation and driving cost effective solutions. In this issue Philip Freeborn, who runs the TORI banking business, having joined us from Barclays where he was CIO/COO for a number of businesses, shares his thoughts on these challenges facing IT infrastructure. It is with great pleasure we have our C-Suite Chit-Chat guest interview with Tony Kerrison, the Global Head of Infrastructure at Barclays, which gives us some insight into the man behind the success story.
Best Wishes Martin Harvey Guest Editor
