I n the summer of 1982, in the industry, setting a precedent for fun at all Celebration Station’s to come. The company grew quickly, opening two parks in 1990, three parks in 1991, five parks in 1992, three in 1993, and a final park in 1994. All Celebration Station’s across the country offer both indoor and outdoor activities. This includes go-karts, Celebration Station opened its doors to the public for the first time in Indiana. This location paved the way for innovation miniature golf, and batting cages; some have kiddie rides, while others have kid go-karts, arcades, and food service. Most also had animatronic stage shows. Through the years, many updates would take place, from adding new cutting-edge attractions such as laser tag, paintball, go-kart tracks, bumper cars, and several others. Parks also went through a series of layout design changes, annual game updates, and paint schemes.

We are in the business of FUN, creating memories and amazing experiences comes easy when you’re surrounded by the right people. What do you enjoy the most about having Celebration Station in our city? There is a lot of history in Baton Rouge, a great food scene, the people are relaxed, and they enjoy family time. It offers so much in things-to-do. Baton Rouge has really grown since we first opened in February of 1990, and we’re still just as excited to be a part of this community. What’s next for Celebration Station? The future is truly limitless. The teams, at all levels, are always brainstorming, innovating, and creating short- and long-term plans. We are always looking at the latest and greatest games, new food items, technology, updated equipment, and what attractions we can add to create amazing experiences for all.
Star Parks & Attractions in January of 2022. Since then, they have livened up the parks with a fresh, new, modern look. Locations have seen some updates to the colors and looks of the buildings, new games, updated menus, attractive packaging, and an exciting new look to the Celebration Station logo. We sat down with Ted Marek, RVP of Operations at Five Star Parks & Attractions to talk about all things Celebration Station.
