The course covers education in different settings, including schools, further and higher education, social services and local and national government. Employability is a key theme and you will have the chance to put your study into practice through a range of optional work placements that include local schools. You will study the theory linked to learning, teaching and assessment and will gain an understanding of curriculum design. You will also have the option of studying the concepts of teaching English as a foreign language which focuses on skills that can lead to opportunities to work anywhere in the world.
