As a student on our Mechanical Engineering degree, you will gain the skills you need for a rewarding career in a range of engineering sectors, including automotive, mechanical and design engineering. As you progress, your developing analytical abilities will combine with hands-on experience of advanced equipment, establishing skills which are vital to securing employment in this fast-moving industry. You will benefit from our state-of-the- art facilities throughout your time in Swansea. These include a dynamics mechanics laboratory, a fluids laboratory and our JetCat P120 engine test room. We also have cutting edge units for digital manufacturing and robotics.
