SOUQ AL ARSAH
Nestled within The Chedi Al Bait, Souq Al Arsah is among the UAE’s oldest markets. Once a lively meeting place for Bedouins and traders, it was a centre of commerce and community. Today, its coral stone walls and wooden doors remain beautifully preserved. Shaded walkways lead to curated shops filled with traditional crafts and antiques.
The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization features seven galleries across two levels, highlighting Islamic faith, Arab scientific achievements, and Islamic arts and crafts. Exhibits include textiles, jewellery, astrolabes, manuscripts, ceramics, and coins. Don’t miss the gold-embroidered Ka’ba curtain and the zodiac mosaic in the central dome. The museum is an architectural gem on the Corniche near the Heart of Sharjah. SHARJAH MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC CIVILIZATION
The Rain Room is a permanent immersive installation at Sharjah Art Foundation’s Al Majarrah, where visitors can walk through continuous rainfall without getting wet. Motion sensors detect movement and stop the rain in the visitor's path, creating a unique sensory experience. Sharjah Art Museum, one of the largest in the region, showcases over 500 works by celebrated Arab artists across three floors.
