T he exposé led to the RSPCA conducting a n investig a tion into their scheme , a lonsgide presidents a nd vice - presidents stepping down a s the controversy of RSPCA A ssured cruelty hit the news . W e still dre a m of a d a y when the RSPCA c a n use its reput a tion a nd power to t a ke a st a nd for a ll a nim a ls , a nd drop their a ssoci a tion with the A ssured scheme which certifies a nim a l cruelty a nd sl a ughter .
