The facility will host sports as well as after school activities to over 300 school children and further assist as a safe space for women and children. The project is an exemplar of what private- public partnerships can achieve. The same energy and optimism that ran through the professional team, contractors, community members involved in the project now resonates within the walls of the building itself. In the words of Caster Semenya: “First you build the human, then you build the athlete, and then you build the leader.”

The project's technical nature - from lifting a roof of an existing building and installing a dance floor – to the social yard canopy installation with minimal columns required plenty hours of grueling design work and team work to get the project to its final position. But most of all the project is noteworthy because a small engineering firm successfully delivered a unique project to a billionaire international client. The project was highly technical, and the time pressure was significant. But today there stands a facility that unites a community. For us the most rewarding part of the project is the change it will bring to underprivileged communities
