S ite Q has a steep gradient which needed to be mitigated so as to adequately allow for a variety of unit typologies. It overlooks Table Bay to the north and is cradled by Table Mountain to the south. Significantly, the original Hanover Street, a high street
in the historic District Six, forms the northern boundary of the site and is celebrated by the creation of a public open space newly named “Old Hanover Street Square”. The adjacent neo-classical 1886 Moravian Church is accessed via the original Russell Street which edges
