and achiever of many firsts for the country from the first library, hospital, and medical school to the birthplace of a new nation. Philadelphia is and continues to be a driver of what’s new and what’s next. With a tagline of, “Next Starts Here,” The Bellwether District will transform the property to create opportunities for local residents and foster meaning- ful connections between the City and the District. Four new city streets are being created, two of which will pay homage to historic African American Philadelphians: James Forten, a Philadelphia businessperson and abolitionist, and Frances Harper, one of the first African American women to be pub- lished in the U.S. “Nowhere is the story of re- creation and re-envisioning being played out more dra- matically than it is here at The Bellwether District in Philadelphia,” said Roberto Perez , CEO of HRP. “The Bellwether District is a ho- listic, thoughtful reimagining of post-industrial property into a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable workplace for generations of people and businesses.” MAREJ workplace, upscale student housing, and senior living projects. ONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Keystone Prop- erty Group , a real estate developer and investor of mixed-use properties, an- nounced it has rebranded to Keystone Development + Investment . The company has moved its new headquarters to 1K1, Keystone’s 255,000 s/f property that will house 50 employees in Conshohocken. 1K1, a high- performance office property, will be the first in the Philadel - phia market with smart glass technology that will anticipate the sun’s movement and adjust in response to temperature levels, glare, and daylight all throughout the workday. The new brand represents the next phase of the firm’s 30- year aspirational mindset and innovative approach to devel- oping commercial real estate, and is best expressed through Keystone’s $325 million, sky - line-redefining development, SORA West. Located in the Philadelphia MSA where Key- stone is headquartered, the 520,000 s/f multi-use project is 17 years in the making and connects a landmark historic firehouse with a new boutique hotel and the new global head- quarters for AmerisourceBer- gen. “We are invested in our partners, our properties, our tenants, and our communities. This investment drives every - thing we do,” said keystone founder/CEO Bill Glazer .

“With a vision to expand our focus to larger scale, more com- plex projects, this rebranding is the next logical step in our evolution towards mixed-use developments that will serve generations to come.” Keystone has completed more than 50 development and redevelopment projects across eight states, and maintains $3.5 billion in assets, which in- clude a deep pipeline of future development sites to be built out over the coming years. Key- stone is a fully integrated real estate enterprise, performing all functions of development, management, operations, and investments. “With multiple projects along the East Coast, Keystone is poised to scale nationally by creating permanently iconic mixed-use developments,” said Richard Gottlieb , president and COO of Keystone. pher Beck , Turner’s senior vice president. “Larry’s leader - ship and passion for excellence make him the ideal candidate to manage our team.” An industry veteran of 26 years, Boresen joined Turner in 1999. Prior to his current role, Boresen held key roles for Turner including Procure - ment manger, business devel- opment manager, construc- tion executive and operations manager, and was integral to the successful delivery of projects including L+M De - velopment Partner’s Hahne and Co. Redevelopment, LG Electronics North American Headquarters, and Barclay’s Building 300 Renovation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Northeast- ern University. Boresen will succeed Mark Romanski , who previously
SORA West provides an ideal case study: Keystone purchased four vintage 1980s office buildings in 2003 on the SORA West site, which lies within a five- minute walk of the borough’s SEPTA Regional Rail station in downtown Conshohocken. Ten years later, the company won an RFP by Conshohocken Borough and the Montgom- ery County Redevelopment Authority to develop the site, bought a small strip of land adjacent to the firehouse, and then purchased the firehouse. In 2014, Keystone successfully petitioned the community to rezone the area to bring all the pieces together. “We’re able to reinvent prop - erties to adapt to where the market is going,” said Gottlieb. “That culture runs through our firm’s history and across all our employees.” MAREJ served the position since 2012. Romanski will assume a new role, joining Turner’s Global Development Team where he will be integral in leading a strategic effort to grow the service offerings that the com- pany provides its clients from a global perspective. “Mark has been a great mentor and friend for many years,” Boresen said. “His passion and commitment to Turner and the New Jersey Business Unit are unmatched and we are very grateful for the leadership and contribu- tions that Mark has provided. Going forward, I am extremely excited and fortunate to have the opportunity to build upon the strengths that he has helped establish for us in New Jersey, which enable us to consistently deliver for our clients.” MAREJ
