The Corporate Relations Network is a connecting and coordinating body that addresses policy and practice in corporate relations between units at the Urbana- Champaign campus and corporate partners. The CRN serves as a forum for corporate relations practitioners from across campus so it can build a strong collaborative culture. Its membership, comprised of over 105 campus employees whose significant responsibility includes managing corporate relations, discusses current developments in the practice of engagement of universities with corporations as well as trends in the economy and environment that relate to emerging corporate engagement opportunities. CRN members also collaborate in defining and continuously refining practices to ensure that corporate relations staff across campus can effectively and efficiently serve units, faculty, corporate partners, and the university community.
In 2024, the CRN hosted its inaugural spring retreat which provided professional development and networking opportunities.
