ALICIA MORGANS, MD, MPH Medical Director, Survivorship Program, Dana- Farber Cancer Institute Dr. Morgans is an associate professor at The Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She specializes in the treatment of genitourinary malignancies, including cancers of the prostate, bladder, testis, and penis. Dr. Morgans’ research focus is on improving care and patient outcomes in advanced prostate cancer. Her research investigates the side effects of cancer treatment and treatment decision- making among men with advanced prostate cancer. She also has an interest in supporting clinical research of novel treatments for genitourinary malignancies. She serves as vice chair of ZERO’s Board of Directors and is the chair of its Medical Advisory Board. STACY RICH Principal and Director, Cornerstone Government Affairs With nearly 17 years of experience working in the Senate Democratic Leadership, Stacy Rich joined the Cornerstone team as a principal in January 2020 after serving as the leadership staff director for Sen. Patty Murray’s (D-WA) office. As a top aide to Murray, the third most senior Democrat in the U.S. Senate, Stacy was responsible for advising the Senator on legislative strategy, leadership planning items, Senate procedure, member priorities and outreach, and floor activity, while also supporting the Senator’s work as Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee and as second most senior Democratic member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, on which Sen. Murray serves as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (Labor-HHS). CHARLES J. RYAN, MD Chief Executive Officer, Prostate Cancer Foundation Dr. Ryan is an internationally recognized genitourinary oncologist with expertise in the biology and treatment of advanced disease as well as the supportive care of all men with prostate cancer. He has served as the Director of the Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation Division in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, and Associate Director for Clinical Research in the NCI-designated Masonic Comprehensive Cancer Center. He’s published over 200 articles and chapters in leading medical journals, and is the author of The Virility Paradox: The Vast Influence of Testosterone on Our Bodies, Minds, and the World We Live In. SUSAN SWEAT Principal and Director, Cornerstone Government Affairs Susan Sweat is a Principal at Cornerstone Government Affairs in Washington, D.C. For a decade, she served as a senior staff member in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. Now, her work supports ZERO and other clients, placing a significant focus on research and funding strategies. Her portfolio and expertise cover health care, defense, and appropriations issues. She received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi College, and a graduate degree from Georgetown University.
