Rick L. Foster, P.E. – Ameren Principal Engineer, Transmission Planning
Mr. Foster has over 30 years of service with Ameren and Illinois Power. His experience includes performing stability, power flow, and small signal analysis for existing and proposed generators interconnected to the transmission system. He has written testimony and provided support for the development and siting of new transmission lines in the state of Illinois. He has served on various SERC and NERC technical committees. Presently he is the chairman of the SERC Variable Energy Resources Working Group.
