Dr. Parag Mitra - EPRI Technical Leader
Dr. Parag Mitra is a Technical Leader at EPRI where he leads the research in the areas of long-term risk-based transmission planning and modeling and model validation for transmission planning studies. Dr. Mitra holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (India) and an M.S and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Arizona State University (USA). Prior to working for EPRI, he was employed with Siemens Energy (India) as a protection and control system design engineer for EHV, HV and MV transmission projects.
