Machine Sewing Workshops with The Common Thread Studio Introduce your Girl Scouts to the lifelong skill of sewing! The Common Thread Studio offers Girl Scouts the opportunity to acquire an independent skill while learning together in community. Girl Scouts will learn machine sewing while also creating homemade pins and/or pom poms to decorate their newly made tote bags.

She Innovates, She Explores: Inspiring Change for a Sustainable World Rising 9th-12th grade Girl Scouts are invited to a day of discovery with Grand Valley State University. Hosted by the Women of Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (WAIAM), this program will introduce stories, careers, and pathways that create change. Learn alongside GVSU students, faculty, and inspiring women in technology careers. CSA
