• Build an understanding of current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staffing within Housing Choices Australia to inform future employment and professional development opportunities. • Engage external consultancy to conduct a review (against clear and defined metrics) of the HR recruitment policy to ensure that Housing Choices’ recruitment and employment practices are culturally inclusive at all levels within the organisation in each state. • Develop a business case for increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment opportunities within our organisation. • Source Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers for events and collateral design (including design for the RAP). • Explore our current supplier and service provision arrangements (both at the National and local levels) and identify opportunities to prioritise procurement from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. • Investigate Supply Nation membership and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business databases to support Housing Choices Australia growing its network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers. • Develop a business case for procurement from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses.
