corey and elizabeth were together for a year before the proposal came at a secluded waterfall at Phipps Conservatory. When it came to planning their nuptials, the couple had fallen in love with Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, setting the date and reaching out to vendors to plan an elegant and timeless wedding. But as they finalized the details of their dream wedding, the world shut down due to the pandemic. Restrictions in Pennsylvania would not allow them to have the wedding they planned, and the couple decided to change the venue of their dream wedding. They began adapting their wedding plans to take advantage of the beautiful Stonewall Resort on a future date instead. Corey and Elizabeth really wanted to keep their original wedding date, though, so they decided to have an intimate ceremony and dinner with their family at The Wonder Bar Steakhouse in Clarksburg. Since their vendors already had the day booked for the couple, they were still able to make the smaller celebration very special. After the Wonder Bar ceremony, the couple finalized the details for their larger wedding day, excited to finally have the wedding they had dreamt of. The guests gathered in the architecturally stunning Grand Hall, where Corey and Elizabeth exchanged vows. The ceremony was officiated by a close friend of the couple and tied in many personal and traditional elements. They had a special unity cocktail of Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola to represent the flowing of two lives into one. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by an exquisite dinner. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the live music of The Company Band and celebrating with the couple. The night came to a close with a group rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
