KARLEE REBECCA MONEY & KYLE EDWIN FISCHER KENOVA | 1.23.21

kyle and karlee’s relationship goes back to high school. It didn’t take long for friendship to turn into something more, carrying on through the ups and downs of young life. The proposal came in the middle of a winter snowstorm. Snowflakes swirled around the couple as Kyle got down on one knee, proposing with a redesigned engagement ring that had once belonged to Karlee’s grandmother. In an effort to merge their styles and preferences into a wedding that was truly their own, the couple opted for a classic feel with a country twist. Holding tight to traditional values and family, the classic and elegant ceremony was attended by 250 friends and family, who helped make the day special while observing pandemic precautions. The traditional wedding march was played by an organist and pianist as Karlee and her father made their way down the aisle. She wore a Mikado mermaid gown with a classic sweetheart neckline and illusion back, topped off with a chic bow detail on the skirt. After exchanging their vows, they commemorated their union with a Unity Cross, symbolizing the tie between the couple and God. A chandelier in the church was dimmed to cast a warm glow over the ceremony. Outside the sanctuary, a single lit candle burned in honor of the bride’s grandmothers, who had passed years earlier. The reception kicked off with a first dance to “Built to Last” by Heartland in honor of the groom’s grandparents, who celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary that same day. Greenery added a touch of color to the surroundings as guests danced the night away. A snowflake send off, a nod to their engagement, took place as the couple left for their honeymoon in Canaan Heights. Kyle and Karlee are enjoying married life at their home in Prichard.
