14. The Fair management, and theWinston-Salem Judges Council will not be responsible for damages or loss of property, though reasonable care will be taken to protect all materials exhibited. (See rules for Design Classes.) 15. All entries and awards in these sections are subject to the General Rules and Regulations of the Carolina Classic Fair. 16. All entries will be acknowledged by mailed letter from the Fair Office and will include entry tags for each exhibit entered. BE SURE TO BRING THESE ENTRY TAGS WITH YOUR ENTRIES; THEY ARE PROOF THAT YOU HAVE PRE-ENTERED AS REQUIRED AND, THEREFORE SAVE TIME IN ACCEPTING YOUR ENTRIES.
Standard System of Awarding Points The NGC Standard System of Awards will be used for all competitive judging. Only one first place (blue) ribbon may be awarded per class Must score 90 or more points Only one second place (red) ribbon may be awarded per class Must score 85 or more points Only one third place (yellow) ribbon may be awarded per class Must score 80 or more points One or more honorable mention (white) ribbons, as merited Must score 75 or more points
No material covered by the Plant Protection and Conservation Act (1 July 1980) or the Garden Club of N.C. Plant Conservation List (16 September 1981) shall be used in any exhibit except on its own root and for educational purposes.
